About Debbie

Debbie PerroneDebbie was born in Fort Worth and grew up in Houston, Texas in a family that loved country & western, bluegrass, and “hillbilly” music. From the age of 4 Debbie loved music and spent many hours listening to recordings of Patsy Cline, Jimmie Rodgers, Roy Acuff, Hank Williams, and Flatt & Scruggs on her family’s small record player.

At the age of 11 Debbie taught herself to play the guitar and began entertaining family and friends. Debbie has been performing in her church choir, nursing homes, private parties and at public venues ever since. Debbie is right at home on the stage and loves to entertain.

Patsy Cline has always been Debbie’s favorite female singer. Like Patsy Cline, Debbie has a rich contralto voice with a wide range that allows her to belt the songs of her favorite artist as well as the songs of Tanya Tucker, Loretta Lynn and other beloved country female singers – and wait till you hear her yodel!
